Skagit Valley Tulip Festival 2010

Apr 11th, 2010 by Sommer | 0

We had an open house scheduled today, so to pass the time, we headed down to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival.  It’s been 3 years since I’ve been, and 4 since Skip has, so it was long overdue.  It was a gorgeous day, so we started out by taking Chuckanut Drive and then went to Roozengaarde, which we discovered back in 2006 (when it was still free!).  Even though it’s no longer free, it was cheaper than Tulip Towne, so we paid the toll and headed in.

The kids had a great time, from what we could tell.  Lots of running around in the grass and a stroll through the tulip fields.  They were more than a little tuckered on the ride home and the boys crashed within minutes of leaving.  :)

Here’s a few shots, and the rest can be seen here: http://www.cronck.com/photos/2010-tulip-festival/
