One More Video
I don’t think this one ever got posted — it’s from early August. It’s Calista’s instructional video on how to climb a tree. Again, YouTube has turned a perfectly good video into crap, but you get the idea…

Calista Climbs a Tree
I have been trying for a few days to get these dang videos looking good on YouTube but YouTube’s upload converter turns them to crap! I am done fighting with it and will post them as is. I’m bummed they are such poor quality, but hopefully they are good enough that you get the idea.

Ace Sharing with Nate
This post is called deja vu because Skip uploaded all of the pictures, and I came to finish by titling and posting them, only to find he uploaded 2-4 slight variations of the same picture several times. I guess he just couldn’t decide which ones were the best, so he thought he’d better share them all.
There are pictures from just life in general, as well as Calista’s 5th birthday and a trip to Victoria. Enjoy!
Today is Calista’s first day of Kindergarten! She woke up excited — Time for school! I get to wear my new clothes! Will I have homework?
It quickly went downhill from there.
She cried when I did her hair, whined about breakfast and didn’t want to eat, was grumpy, sassy and generally bratty most of the morning. Then she was crying, saying she was going to be scared, she wanted to stay home, etc, etc.
However, by the time we got her out the front door, her mood was remarkably improved and she did great when we got there. I took her in to school and down to her classroom and Mrs. R showed her where to put her backpack, sweater and lunch bag. Then she went into her classroom and got her name tag and headed off for a story.
I went out into the hall and did some snack sign up, and before I left, I peeked in and she was sitting with two other kids and looked like she was having fun. Hopefully, she will have a great first day!
She is very excited about getting homework, too… we’ll see how excited she is about it once she knows what homework is!
Enjoy…
August has been one crazy month here in the Cronck household. The boys are growing, getting more comfortable with each other, climbing and crawling all over the place, and tormenting Calista.
It has been a warm month, so you get to see a lot of naked butts. Hope you don’t mind :)
Nate fell off our bed early this morning (or did Sommer hip check him in her sleep - I’ll let you decide) and has a hair line fracture on his radius and ulna on his lower right arm. Time for us to get some bed rails because both boys have tumbled off the bed one too many times. Good thing these boys are tough like thier Dad!
Enjoy the pictures!
