Phone pic I took of the crazy northbound border wait times... NOT! On our way!!! This is the Alex Fraser bridge, I believe. Couldn't have asked for better weather! It was gorgeous.
We parked @ Metrotowne and they had these NHL awards on display, so we snapped a shot. Finally at the waterfront. Check out all of the rock art the kids were building! Inside the Irish House. It's a $10 cover, but what they don't tell you is with each cover, you get a drink ticket good for an $8 beer. Now that's value! It looks dead because it had just opened when we got there.
Skip at the Irish House. I should have got a photo of his beer. The free ticket didn't cover the Irish beers, so he had to drink Molson Candian! Skip and I at the Irish House. They say that house rocks at night -- I believe it! Canadian pride abound in downtown.
Me and a native. He was so cute! When I walked up, he put his arm around me and said, "You're making my day." I put my arm around him and motioned to Skip with the camera and he said, "Oh, you have a boyfriend." I said, "No, my husband." He said, "That's even worse! I don't want to get beat up!"
